It is difficult to comment on boundaries when specific changes are not highlighted in the report but given that.
The Park boundary north of Eastdale Drive to Archer drive should be maintained and reinforced to allow public access to the entire park. Waterfront owners should not be allowed to infringe on park boundaries by surreptitiously extending fences and chasing park attendees away from this area. As the population increases searching more for recreational activities and in light of global warming and the need to escape the heat , this is unconscionable.
In addition, all paths that lead to the beach are a right that all adjacent owner and visitors to the park should be allowed to use. Most of these paths (at least in the north end of the park) are between waterfront cottages and do not impact the dunes.
As an owner of a property for the last 48 years , I would be saddened if waterfront owners ended up dictating who gets to swim or sit at the beach.
