This proposed gravel pit will be a terrible thing for our community. The amount of trucks running back and forth plus the noise will be a detriment to all living in Maryhill and surrounding area. We have all moved out here or decided to remain here because of the lifestyle , privacy and peaceful environment it offers. This should be decided by the residents of the area not a bunch of politicians who do not live here. It’s bad enough we have so many commuters from Waterloo useing Maryhill as a short cut to Guelph, which has increased the traffic tremendously over the last 15 to 20 years. It is a time to put a stop to anymore interruption in our lifestyle and quiet way of life in our quaint little village. I sincerely hope that everyone will respond and put a stop to this now. Please, everyone, take a minute to express your complete and total disapproval in writing or at a meeting. Together we have a chance to save our wonderful little village.
