Protecting the Great Lakes is vital to our survival!
The most important issues that must be dealt with to achieve this are:
- Tackling plastic pollution and litter clean-ups, by banning all plastic beverage containers and the use of micro-beads in Ontario,
- Eliminating the use of all road salt in Ontario,
- Reducing harmful algae by banning all pesticide and fungicide use on farmland in Ontario.
