As a resident of Ontario, I am extremely concerned by the reckless commoditization of our precious natural resources. In the context of rapidly declining fresh water around the world, we in fact should be treating it with increased care. We should not be abandoning it to institutions that are strongly motivated by profit to exploit it.

I fully support this extension to the moratorium and I hope any new policies for such permits are designed through a strongly environmental perspective.
