Haliburton county has been dealing with this problem for years and years, your right, were is it suppose to go, well, maybe it is time to upgrade the waste management system in town or build lagoons. People do not want this crap in there backyards. Untreated waste, I don't care how safe you say it is not safe. People flush corrosive drain cleaners, condoms, tampons and god knows what else into there toilets and sinks.
What about people that are taking chemotherapy.? What about people who are on lots of meds?
I was once told by a septic person that chemo drugs in peoples waste can corrode a cement tank. I believe him, so therefore what do you think that this trickle down effect will have for our environment.
I for one am for this county to upgrade there waste management system, or build lagoons somewhere, but not on someones farmland surrounded by a river that runs right thru the property and is surrounded by neighbours close by. this is totally unacceptable. Haliburton needs to step up to the plate and deal with this situation because it is not going to go away.
