Hello Sarah:

After reading the proposal I would like to make the following suggestions for consideration to the development of Cedar Creek Park Provincial.

I would like to suggest signs along the trails next to the native trees like the ones on Pelee Park's nature trail beside the Visitor's Centre. They are informative and educational of the natural habitat.

I have read a few signs along the bike path between Kingsville and Harrow displaying pictures and information about the birds in the area. I would like to suggest some similar signs along the trails in Cedar Creek park about the birds and animals that pass through or inhabit the park. This would be educational and interesting for hikers.

Another suggestion I would like to propose is a large parking lot at the entrance off Concession Road 3 for buses.

I would like to suggest that garbage and recycling containers be installed at the parking lot and a few garbage containers along the trails. As mentioned in the proposal portable washrooms at the parking lot is a good idea to consider for this park.

I would like to know how wide the trails are going to be so that hikers and visitors can avoid coming in contact with ticks.

I also have a question about the dock on County Road 23, south of County Road 20. It would be maintained by this provincial park. It provides accessiblility to the water for nonmotorized boats such as canoes and a dock for fishing.
