I would inform you that processing of organic waste in a quiet residential neighborhood will be detrimental to the health and well-being of the families who live in this neighborhood. Such facility should be located farther from population centres perhaps on industrial land away from neighbouring residential areas. It is also unacceptable to subject our neighborhood to heavy truck traffic noise and pollution required to transport waste and waste by products. It will negatively impact property values that we rely on for our retirement. It is unacceptable to us and we intend to vigorously oppose this proposal.
