As a falconer I’ve been all over the USA to hunt at field meets and many states have a limitless harvest for wild raptors as falconry birds ie. licensed falconers just apply for their permit, trap and are able to release if needed, no
lottery system. The abundance of various species shows that the small amount of falconers who are utilizing this system are not making a negative impact on the population. I fully support this proposal and hope that it comes to fruition. Thanks to the MNRF for your consideration.
