This proposal is outrageous! In this day and age with our environment at such a tipping point for disaster, this extraction focussed mentality has to stop. Where is the conversation to radically rethink how we live and limits to consumption? It is always profit and economy over people's lives and the health of our environment. We will all pay dearly for this short-sighted, profit-driven attack on the very resources that are needed to sustain healthy communities.
Even as a non-scientist, I understand the request to take water from below the water table as incredibly damaging.
This corporate plundering of public resources where the damage done is borne by the public needs to be stopped in its tracks!
