This is an extremely dangerous idea. The planning act is put in place, in part, to protect very fragile and important ecosystems. Reducing regulations that protect our environment in favor of corporate interests is cruel and unjust. Global climate change is a big deal and doing this will be very detrimental in terms of the soil degradation, habitat destruction, carbon emissions (the soil in wetlands holds carbon and prevents it from entering the atmosphere). Any government that lets a bill like this pass DOES NOT have my vote and would a government that I actively advocate against.
