Any changes to the property should consider the long term ground water impacts. There are various examples of ground water contamination. This proposal is another example of longer term ecological issues. If this proposal is approved both Miller group and town council member should be held accountable for these long term unseen issues.
There should be considerations for the original rehabilitation plans. The land use was approved based on those guidelines. While new uses can evolve, we should lose sight of the original plans and goals. Based on these factors I see no reason to approve these changes. Beyond the obvious monetary, short sighted, non environmentally conscious and easy path. There is no benefit to the town associated with this amendment.
