My father owns 4 and a half acres of lake front land in Beamsville. He bought it with the intent of severing it for his kids or grandkids. He isn’t able to do that because of the greenbelt. He pays almost $16000 in taxes to get what ? One bag of garbage picked up with recycling. He is on well water and can’t get internet without paying big bucks for it. He can’t get cable so only choice is bell express view. He doesn’t have a gas line so only choice is propane trucked in. How about allowing him to sever the land.
