The whole idea of a "Greenbelt" is poorly conceived. It has created the worst form of urban sprawl that I can imagine. It has forced people to live outside the Greenbelt and commute through it to get to jobs inside the GTA. I am disappointed that the present government has chosen to continue this charade. There is nothing Green about the greenbelt. It urbanizes lands that should be green.
