Hello,

I would like to share my thoughts on Millers application to move 36 hectares of land to the oversight of Township of Uxbridge.

As Miller has demonstrated they have no regard for the rules and regulations put in place for them to operate on this land, giving them permission to operate a contractor's yard is wrong.

Putting the oversight into the hands of the township is also wrong, as this is the responsibility of the MNRF.

Uxbridge is a very unique Township, with emphasis on the trails provided through town not only by the township but land donated by private citizens. We should not consider applications that do not contribute to this environment.

Not to mention the fragility of the Oak Ridges Moraine and what bringing in fill from the GTA could do to this sensitive area.

Please do not allow the transfer of this responsibility to the Township and do not allow Miller to operate a contractors yard, or the removal of the asphalt plant from MNRF oversight and importing fill.
