Hello,
Regarding the Boyington Pit#3 in the township of Uxbridge and the request to permit an industrial after-use on a portion of the site,
I am against it!!
I live 1 km away from the pit and I hear the dump trucks beeping noice early in the morning one after another, which is very annoying! Not just the beeping, but also I hear the trucks excellerating engine sounds until they get to stop at the traffic light on Con7/Hwy21 Goodwood road. When the light turns green I hear the same trucks again. Annoying sounds in a beautiful neighborhood! This area is not an industrial area, where trucks should be allowed to arrive by the hundreds per day and dump whatever was loaded in the back of their truck.

I have concerns regarding the
1) noise pollution, the
2) air pollution from the dust the trucks stir up and 3) the groundwater that will ultimately get affected by the potentially garbage fill the trucks might bring along when getting parked there.

We life in this area and drink the water from our well. We need the water to be clean. My family and I don’t want to drink groundwater with industrial pollutants in it.

At the end of a pit extraction, the site should be rehabilitated into its natural state, with grass, trees and meadows and allow the nature to take it back. Don’t allow a parking lot for industrial vehicles, which will negatively impact the location in this area and spoil the aqua fur and our life.

We, the residence of Uxbridge need room to live and breathe. It is our home, our neighbourhood we love so much.
Please don’t allow loud trucks and industrial after-use to ruin the neighborhood we life in.
