I am not supportive of Miller's application. As a resident of Uxbridge it is very concerning that this proposal is even being considered. The location sits on the Oak Ridges Moraine on highly vulnerable aquifer and should not be used for industrial purposes especially if it could be used as a fill site. Even if the risk of water contamination is low, I don't feel it's a risk not taking. The township is not equipped to manage Miller especially since they aren't afraid to be non-compliant for over a decade. It should stay under the current regulators and the law needs to be enforced.
