As a senior citizen, I would be very concerned about being safe on roads and walkways with autonomous vehicles also be manipulated with unknown levels of supervision and expertise, in addition to dealing with cyclists who do ride on the sidewalks and other devices such as scooters and baby carriages. The use of these vehicles and control over same would really need to be perfected before taking chances with the safety of pedestrians on the sidewalks.
