I am all for aligning the hunting regulations throughout the province and in fact think this process is long long over due. I am however a bit concerned and confused as to why in WMU’s 91 and 92 there are still no changes while all the neighbouring units are changing. I find it difficult to understand the logic. The majority of places to hunt in these WMU’s are private properties. In my case I have permission or own the properties I hunt. I am the only person who hunts them. I only hunt with a bow. The hunting season is fragmented and frustrating as I know I could be hunting on the properties I have access to. Why can we not align all the areas the same. Wear hunter orange and allow bow hunting in ALL WMU’s including 91 and 92. I would like to know the reason this is not already being considered.
