#2 I’m concerned about bow hunters being able to hunt durning gun season even if they wear hunter orange as gun hunters are required. First, bow hunter have exclusive time to hunt deer from Sept thru to Dec 31, except for two weeks during gun season. In WMUs 90b we have the access to NCC property to hunt, bows or gun. It’s on a first come basis. So if there is one bow hunter on a 200 acre property, we all stay out. This reduces the # of propriety we all can hunt as they are limited. As I hunt only in a CDH ,I put in for a draw. This would also mean the bow hunter would also put in for CDH draw. Chances maybe I lose out to a bow hunter as too many people applied for CDH tag. I’m not sure as to the validity of these changes for simplicity’s sake. I’m a gun hunter and will probably never use a bow to hunt. I would hate to lose out on a CDH tag in the future when I apply.
