Please find attached a letter from More Neighbours Toronto commenting on some of Toronto's PMTSAs submitted as part of the Official plan. The letter suggests increasing density permissions within PMTSAs in order to make better use of transit and other infrastructure, as well as to make affordable housing through inclusionary zoning feasible on more sites. In addition, PMTSAs are an opportunity to simplify planning and zoning in these areas. The province can also promote transit-oriented development by ensuring that other infrastructure needed for growth will be funded. Please see the letter for further details.
