I have repeatedly tried to comment and I keep getting cut off this page. So I am jumping to the point.
The lands in St Catharines south of Lakeshore Road should not continue to be zoned E2 Employment. These 45 acres of vacant land have been zoned Industrial since at least 1964. A failed 58-year experiment it is FAR from any 400 series highways and the Welland Canal is a huge impediment. Whatever comes there, the prevailing winds from the west will blow contaminants from these lands to the sensitive land use directly across Read Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake NO ONE is thinking about the environmental and economic impact on those lands.
