I think this is an abhorant…

I think this is an abhorant attack on our existing greenbelt.

While expanding housing needs to be of paramount importance, especially given our province's current issues with rental availability, pricing, and home ownership. We also need to preserve what green space we have in order to protect an entire ecosystem.

Our existence in the natural world needs to be a symbiotic one. If we continue to degrade and trample these precious land, what will protect future communities from the danger of climate change? The biggest issue we face being flooding.

Instead of zoning enormous single family home neighbourhoods we need to think smarter and build up.

This further encroachment will only start a rapid continuation in the future against Ontario's natural world. We need it as much as it needs us.
