It is absolutely unacceptable to destroy any part of the greenbelt! These areas are some of the few remaining intact ecosystems in an urban environment that has ruined all other green spaces around it. The greenbelt was created to protect one small but essential part of our natural environment. We have the responsibility to protect these lands from short-sighted projects like this one. No excuses, we must not destroy any part of the greenbelt!
