This is just contributing to more car-centric urban sprawl at a cost to the environment. Ontario needs a plan to develop more livable spaces, not suburbs. I know that housing is an issue, I'm in the same boat as everyone else struggling to afford living in a walkable neighbourhood but developing the greenbelt is not the answer. Better transit (high speed train as an example) would allow for more cities to develop instead of everyone living in and around toronto. We can do better, please reconsider this proposal.
