Ontarians we’re promised by…

Ontarians we’re promised by Doug Ford that the green belt would not be touched. As an Ontarian, I do not support the green belt being opened up for any reason. Not for houses and certainly not for highways.

There are plenty of other options for housing. Why not consider repurposing buildings in downtown Toronto that are currently sitting empty? How about looking at legislation to ensure that foreign investors are not letting dwelling units sit empty? Why not invest in other areas of Ontario and encourage people to move to less densely populated areas? We could invest in infrastructure like high speed trains to make it more affordable so people don’t need to live as close to Toronto.

See… options. Don’t touch our beautiful protected lands!
