The problem is not with available housing inventory, the problem is that there is not enough affordable housing. So please stop suggesting it is a inventory problem. This is simply not true.
This is nothing more than an attempt to convince taxpayers that we need to circumvent current good urban planning methods in favour of Urban sprawl at any cost.
Build affordable housing in Urban areas, that is what is needed.
