We do NOT need to expand into lands we need for farms and food and the overall benefit of our planet in order to build more homes. In many places, Hamilton included this has been voted against and removing our democratic rights by going over our heads to support your own gain due to investor interest is placing our province and canada in a precarious political position. We need higher density, affordable homes and in most of the places you're looking to expand there is a range of options for building denisty and not expanding boundaries into protected lands. DO YOUR JOB and properly assess these options and don't just give into developers.
