We don't need 50,000 homes that the people of Ontario can afford except foreign investors, and a very few percentages. This release to developers will destroy the richest farmland in Ontario. You can NOT eat concrete. This land is actually Mohawk land and breeches Treaty rights. The People of Ontario do not want this!
Yesterday I attended the Rally in Pickering, the response from the cars driving by, was more than 80 % to stop Bill 23. If the Premier is allowed to do this, it is only to profit the developers pockets and more so as it is a known fact secret meeting took place in the City of Pickering offices. Leads one to believe there were large amounts of money provided to the benefit of those politicians supporting it .
This will leave many people homeless and Destroy the Environment that is hanging on by a very thin thread .
