Ontario has the best farmland in the country, we should be pretecting that land at all costs, not expanding suburband sprawl and spraying concrete everywhere. Build denser neighborhoods on unused land within the cities, god knows there is plenty of it. I do not support the ammendments to the Greenbelt plan, the government already promised they would move or exchange lands in the greenbelt and now they are breaking that promise and doing exactly that. What is the point of protected land if it is so easy to remove the protections and start developing it.
