With all due respect to the PC plan to building more affordable homes to help the housing problem in Ontario I do believe this approach was completely undemocratic to say the least. Eliminating the voice of the public which are the people which gave the PC's a majority and playing a deaf ear to the scientific professional advice of the experts was not a wise move either. Carving out the Greenbelt after a promise not to, kneecapping the conservation authorities ability to do their work and eliminating developer fees is a recipe that I believe the PC party does not want to see in the 2026 election.
