I oppose this proposal. Many established and new residents in the Grimsby area cherish the rural feeling of our region and value the richness of our land. Sacrificing both for more homes would be a travesty. Why not build in less fertile regions? Additionally, the area in map 11 slated for removal from the green belt is already poorly supported by new infrastructure around the Fifty Road exit - it’s extremely congested with traffic around the new shopping complex. Adding more homes would likely exacerbate this problem.
