I am writing to state my total opposition to the proposal, revealed on November 04 2022, to remove 7,400 acres from the invaluable Greenbelt. I am in total opposition to removal of any amount of land from the Greenbelt.

These removed lands can never be "replaced" elsewhere.

Within the current City of Toronto boundaries, increased density has been, and is currently already under construction through building upwards on main roads, turning 1 and 2 story-high commercial and residential structures into high rises up to 55 stories high. There is no, NO, NO need to use our most valuable precious arable land to build new housing!

Food and water from Green Belt agricultural land and rivers is vital to support our growing population, to supply regional food and water.

As a life-time resident of Ontario, I feel very passionate about saving the Greenbelt, now and for our future. Do NOT sell our vital Greenbelt to greedy developers who have no interest at all in our general health or welfare.

I am totally opposed to the Ford government idea of any development of the Greenbelt, or in the Greenbelt.
