Are we really in a housing crisis? Are there not condos and units in Toronto that remain empty?
Is affordability not the issue here?
Nonetheless, the green belt in Ontario is an integral part of the ecosystem in this area. We need it more than we need to put houses in this location.
There has to be other options. We need to think critically and do what is best long term… once we loose this land we will never get it back….
