I am a resident of the Niagara Escarpment Greenbelt area and I strongly oppose removing the Greenbelt designations from the proposed areas. The Greenbelt is an important resource for Ontario in terms of natural preservation and agricultural production. There is enough room for new housing projects in existing areas and this land is the type of land where it is becoming more popular for luxury homes to be built. Neither luxury homes nor large subdivisions will meaningfully impact Ontario's housing availability crisis and it certainly does not outweigh the benefits of continuing to protect Ontario's natural resources when so many better and less damaging alternatives to this proposal.

I strongly oppose these proposed amendments.
