I am a mother of two children. I strongly disagree with the provincial government’s decision to carve out desirable development land from the Greenbelt and hand it over, Willy-nilly to developers. These private companies have no vision or care about the environment and our future. All they want is money in their pockets and to hell with the flora and fauna in these regions that need to be protected.
Enough with the sprawl and ugly spread of housing. These are not communities, these are sub-divisions of car-centric idiocy. I am shocked and disgusted at the decisions that are being made and the blatant lies. We will never be able to go back. We will never be able to look our children in the eyes when they ask why we let this happen. Stop, stop, Stop it.
