This is not acceptable and this government was elected based on promises that this would not happen. This is a cash grab.
Where is the report that shows that existing non residential (unused industrial, etc) lands can not be used? The "housing crisis" is allowing all affordable / rental units to be used as hotels. Address those and still make millions for your friends and leave the little bit of "environment" alone.
