I reside at 149 Sanford Street.

I have serious concerns about disturbing the contaminated soil located at 220 Bradford Street. I remember this property being an automotive salvage yard. This property has been vacant for many years now. Any excavation could potentially spread contaminated soil onto adjoining properties. We have young children which play outdoors.

There is ground water, possibly a spring, seeping out of the ground and flowing into Lake Simcoe. Excavation could increase the amount of pollutants which enter the lake.

I am also concerned about what the future use of this property will be and how it will impact us and all our neighbors that the south end of Sanford Street.
