Most boaters use there boats to enjoy the day with the family including there kids. 300 meters is definitely deep waters . Please explain how this is safer for children . Also, all or most of the traffic on The water is in deep water, making this impossible to anchor a boat with all the wake that boat traffic create thus making an enjoyable day on the water absolutely impossible.
To add to all this confusion, boaters do pay their fair share in taxes and other sources such as marina fees, marina, gas prices, and all other associated costs in boating
The water belongs to us all not just the wealthy, lakefront cottage owners.
