I live about 2 km away from said property and have to say that when I first heard about this proposal I thought it was a joke, neighborhood gossip with no truth. The idea that raw human sewage could be openly spread within a rural community shocks and horrifies me. We have waste treatment centers that can easily take it but one person wants to save money all at the risk of the community from contamination, smell, and possible health affects. Truely Im disappointed this is a practice thats allowed to take place anywhere in Canada. I have a camp up north and can't even put a dock in the water or disturb the ground in anyway to protect the natural ecosystem which I am happy to accept because it's the right thing. This proposal is dangerous! Deny it and request that the waste is desposed of safely at a regulated treatment center. I'm going to leave it by saying this is a polarizing situation that not one person I've spoken with agrees with. This will only cause problems!!! Why take the risk!?!
