In general, we oppose the request for using this property for human waste disposal.
We already have facilities in place for treating and disposing human waste.
The piece of property in question has an extremely high water table as is evident by the pond at the roadside that is full and overflowing. Due to the recent large amount of rainfall, there is extreme ponding of surface water on the property due to the high water table. Run off into nearby creeks will be a health hazard to the environment, to human health, to wildlife and our livestock that graze nearby pastures. What about the residents who live very close to the property that have to deal with the smell and pollutants . Does anyone care about that? It's 2023 people...we are trying to save our environment not kill it. Want to have Ministry of Environment/ Natural resources do a full in person inspection with a report accessible to the public.
