Boaters, and the newer boat homes should not be allowed to anchor within 300 metres of developed shoreline. I request that this change be implemented.
They also must respect private property. As a land owner with shoreline I have had enough of boaters securing their boats to trees/rocks to Private Property.
It used to be once every few years some boater would do this, now it is almost a weekly occurrence in July/August.
Going forward, I will call the OPP every time. It is a waste of OPP Marine resources, but I am sick and tired of the disrespect and trespassing.
