Dwayne Wilson’s proposal to…

Dwayne Wilson’s proposal to dump raw sewage near my HOME when there is a perfectly (and more environmentally friendly) option at the wastewater treatment plant in London, all because he wants to save time and money for his own private business is ludicrous.

The proposal uses extremely vague language (“…no unnecessary off-site effects, such as vermin, vectors, odour, dust, litter, noise or traffic, result from the operation of this site…” )and yet does not define “unnecessary.“ The proposal also fails to explain how oversight of this inevitable environmental disaster is to occur.

In an article from Mr. Wilson’s first failed attempt at this, he said he was “surprised” by the strong reaction of locals as it pertains to him dumping untreated human waste right next to our homes and farmlands. Mr.Wilson resides in Glencoe. If he thinks we should not have an issue with this, why not dump his sewage right next to his own home? The health risks associated with living near an untreated human sewage dump site have been scientifically proven to be potentially lethal, not to mention the incredibly putrid smells that we would have to endure. Not only that, but the risks to our environment and local wildlife could (and would) be devastating. By approving this proposal, the ERO is risking my family’s and well-being, our local environment, and even property values in the area.

I strongly urge the ERO to deny this application, and to not trust a man who believes that human waste is perfectly safe to be allowed to potentially destroy our environment, our farms, our family’s health, and property values all with little to no regulations and oversight.
