My husband and I are firmly against this. There is no need other than someone wanting to save money by not responsibly disposing of waste. Facilities are in place to deal with human waste so as to mitigate impacts on land, soil and water . There would not be any ability to control where this environmental hazard would end up , that is what it is, and how it would impact wildlife, drinking water and eventually people. The smell would be atrocious and never ending for people living nearby or downwind. The bacteria, viruses, potential drug residues from whatever people are taking, including antibiotics would make it in to the environment and affect animals and humans in a negative way. The impact on the environment and everything living in it, animals and humans alike, would be to all our detriment. I also would like to point out that once you say yes to one then you can't say no to others, you've set a precedent that will ruin the proposed property and those around it, possibly for years or decades. People living nearby will have their property values drop and lessen their enjoyment of their land, through no fault of their own. Treatment facilities exist for a reason and are accessible, use them.
We most definitely oppose this and hope for everyones sake it is not allowed to happen.
