I am against this proposal. Untreated human waste on Falconbridge Drive property has the potential to leach into creeks in the area impacting wildlife and any human contact with creek waters via chemical and microbiological components. It may also impact groundwater and subsequently well water sources. Along with traditional pathogens associated with raw human waste, untreated wastewater also contains SARS-CoV-2 from infected individuals. This is well established; wastewater is monitored by provincial authority for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 and is indicated as the 'wastewater signal'. It is critical that any human waste be managed through treatment facilities to mitigate any negative impact on human health.
