I am deeply offended that…

I am deeply offended that the applicant would want to dump untreated human waste in my neighbourhood, near my family and house. This is a very bad idea.

My family and I enjoy being outside in our yard, around our house and protected woodlot. This enjoyment will be taken from us when my family will have to continually breathe the stench of human waste. It is a big problem when clean air is taken from my family.

The continuous surface spreading of human waste will damage the soil forever. Soil cannot absorb continual spreading. The runoff, which there will be, will end up in the two creeks on the property, and then go into the surrounding watershed. The local Conservation Authority is always trying to improve and create healthy watersheds. Why would anyone want to dump human waste and destroy waterways? What about all the wildlife and animals who live in nearby woodlots? What will they drink when their water is contaminated?

What about the cattle farm across the road from this proposed dump? How will the cattle be healthy with human waste beside them?

The continuous spreading of human waste is also going to ruin all of the wells in the area. All local families depend on well water for all their needs. Drinking and bathing in water contaminated with human waste would be devastating.

Besides all of the other bad ideas about this proposed human waste dump, it will do nothing for the future of my community. The lack of concern for the houses and families who already live beside the proposed site is appalling. Who would want to live and raise their family beside a human waste dump? That is disgusting.
