I am shocked & very concerned that the Ontario government is considering amendments to Fish & Wildlife allowing the use of live animals as bait in training. OMG. Ontarians do not live in the medieval age of cruelty, this is 2023! Live animals must never be allowed to be used as bait.
Training dogs &/or other animals can be done without the use of living breathing feeling creatures.
I am appalled that the Ontario government is even considering such a barbaric action.
As an Ontarian, as a Canadian I say a big NO!
