Penned coyote hunting is a barbaric and unnecessary practice, and has no place in Ontario. Not only is this practice cruel to all animals involved, it risks spreading diseases and parasites between both wild and domestic animals, and humans. Facilitating these kinds of activities would undo important progress in reducing animal cruelty in the province and demonstrate to Canadians that our governments have learned nothing from the extremely wide-reaching consequences that we continue to face due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
