It's disturbing to learn…

It's disturbing to learn that the Ministry is proposing to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. I don't believe that it's ethical to exploit wild populations to be used as bait for dog training.
The justifications for renewing these facilities are not clear but they lack the recognition of the inherent cruelty of these practices. I don't think that animal welfare is being considered on a big scale as it promotes a disrespectful and harmful relationship with wildlife.
Please do not allow this backwards step in the regulations and close the remaining facilities that operate as train and trial spaces. These facilities should have no place in Ontario.
