Dear Minister and Committee,
Dog training and trial areas should be phased out rapidly over the next 5 years.
Use of live animals to train dogs and compete with dogs is an obsolete practice that should be disallowed. In our society there is no place for this inhumane and outmoded sport.
Therefore I strongly oppose the new legislation and request that a new rapid phase-out legislation be drawn up immediately.
