This is a barbaric practice! It's horrific and I cannot understand how anyone could think this is a reasonable proposal. STOP this!!! There is NEVER any reason to cause horrible pain and suffering to an innocent animal. I seriously wonder what kind of person would propose such a horrifying, ridiculous practice. What country is this? Doesn't sound like Canada to me. What the heck is wrong with people???????
